The Public Health Crisis of Bone Health

The thing is, there are not enough doctors here in the U.S. to screen and treat osteoporosis patients. The need is simply too great.

In today's episode of Overdrive, the Rheumatology Network podcast, Dr. Lewiecki, who serves as director of the New Mexico Clinical Research and Osteoporosis Center, tells us about Bone Health TeleECHO, an online learning and sharing platform for physicians. It's a simple concept really: specialists train primary care providers online using Zoom, Teams or any video conferencing service.
