Prevalence of Osteoporosis-Related Fractures is Alarmingly High

The clinical burden of fracture on Medicare fee-for-service beneficiaries is significant, with patients continuing to experience additional fractures at high rates. The survival after a subsequent fracture is approximately 180 days, shows a report issued in August by the National Osteoporosis Foundation.In this slideshow, we highlight the findings from the report.
