Oligoarthritis, characterized as juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) presenting with involvement of ≤ 4 joints without systemic manifestations, is the most common type of JIA, affecting approximately half of patients.

In the first in a series of clinical quizzes based on the American College of Rheumatology’s 2021 Guideline for the Treatment of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, we focus on initial and subsequent treatment recommendations for patients with active oligoarthritis.
